A quick update to advise of a change in my vocal chord surgery schedule from August 15th to August 20th in Nashville.

Also, I am scheduled to go into the VA as an inpatient for 2-3 weeks of intense PT/OT starting on Tuesday, September 3rd.

Looking forward to providing good news in the near future.

Love,
Alex

      Hello Wayne and June
I just saw your comment and wondered where you live. City and state. I am in N. Caroline close to Greensboro. I have only been following Alex and the Scottish games for a few years.
May The Lord bless you and keep you.

Alex, it was only today that I read of your injuries and now your vocal chord surgery. We were a part of your wonderful Scotland tour in 2003 and, even though I was born in Aberdeen, I had never been to the many places we visited with you as our family came to the U.S. when I was only seven. It was a once in a lifetime trip, made all the better by your humor and talent. May God bless you and grant you a speedy recovery. The Games are not the same without you. All the best.

I met you at the Highland Games in Pleasanton, Ca. several years ago and your 2CD set of favorites lives with me in my car. This is the first I have heard of your injuries. May God grant you a good recovery.
The cares of tomorrow must wait until this day is done!
